Red Velvet Peppermint Cake Balls
- 1 red velvet cake mix, prepared according to package directions
- 1 can cream cheese frosting
- 1 package white chocolate morsels
- 1 package chocolate peppermint candy (such as Andes)
Bake cake mix according to instructions on box in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Let cake cool and then crumble in a large bowl. Stir in cream cheese frosting. Mix well. Shape into small cake balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in freezer overnight.
In large or medium microwave-safe bowl, place white chocolate morsels and chocolate peppermint candy. Microwave at 50 percent for 1 minute. Stir. Continue at 50 percent strength at 30-second intervals until completely melted.
Remove cake balls from freezer. Dip in chocolate mixture and place back on parchment paper. Let set up. Store in refrigerator in an air-tight container.
