Mandy Kent is publications specialist at Indiana Statewide Association of RECs. She works with the association’s newspaper, Electric Consumer, to produce its members’ replate pages each month. Kent also helps produce the annual Indiana Electric Cooperatives Directory and the annual Cooperative Calendar of Student Art.

Kent began with Indiana Statewide in August 2011.  Prior to that, she completed several internships in the journalism and public relations industries. She has worked for the law firm of Bingham McHale LLP, Indianapolis Monthly magazine, the Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Southern Indiana Development Commission.

Kent was selected as a Eugene S. Pulliam intern by the Hoosier State Press Association in the summer of 2010. She worked with the Loogootee Tribune to write and edit news and feature stories and produce a multimedia project.

She is a May 2011 graduate of Huntington University, where she served as the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Huntingtonian, during her senior year.

Kent resides in downtown Indianapolis.
